We care for our students following the best practice pastoral care code of conduct, ensure that we touch base with our students/residents regularly, and care about their health and safety.

At Hatch Student Living, we prioritize wellbeing, ensuring that our residents have access to resources and support that promote both mental and physical health.
Our welcoming environment encourages students to connect, share experiences, and engage in activities that enhance their overall wellbeing. By focusing on a balanced lifestyle, we create a space where students can thrive academically and personally.
Staff on Call 24/7
A staff member is on duty after hours and can be contacted for emergencies with 24/7 on call coverage. Dependent on the accommodation, staff may also be living on site to provide pastoral care to residents.
Residential Leaders
Each resident is assigned a Residential Leader as a first point-of-contact for general matters. The ratio of Residential Leaders to residents is approximately 1:25 for Student Village or Wintec Apartments, and 1:16 for Wintec Eco Village.
Absences
Unexplained absences from the community are investigated twice a week. These investigations are conducted to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents.

Smooth Transition
Residing at Hatch Student Living offers students an ideal transition from living at home to experiencing a flatting environment that balances independence with safety. Our accommodations provide the privacy and autonomy of flatting while ensuring a secure atmosphere that fosters a strong sense of community.
